Job Description JOB TITLE: Product Engineer DEPARTMENT: Product Engineering JOB DESCRIPTION: A: Purpose and Scope The Product Engineer is responsible for product development and product engineering activities at The Company.
B. Responsibilities Perform product engineering development and product support activities as directed. Requires working in a team environment with other departments at The Company such as Design Engineering, Quality, Operations, Test, Applications Engineering, Service, Marketing, Sales etc.. Also requires working with external customers and suppliers, dependent upon project and program activities.
C. Organization Relationships The Product Engineer reports directly to the Director of Product Engineering.
JOB REQUIREMENTS: A. Education and Training The Product Engineer should have a four year technical degree, preferably Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. Industrial Technology candidates to be considered, dependent upon course work and area of concentration.
B. Technical Requirements Two years plus of related technical experience is desired, but recent college graduates will be considered based on course work and grades.
C. Managerial Experience None required.
