Job Description
JOB TITLE: Production Operator
DEPARTMENT: Operations/Production
JOB DESCRIPTION:
A: Purpose and Scope The Production (Assemble/Process) Operator is responsible for following procedures for product assembly/fabrication, equipment operation and safety requirements as documented in the company's quality system.
B. Responsibilities The Process Operator is responsible for assembling products, handling products, equipment and materials per the Production Department and company's quality system procedures.
C. Organization Relationships The Production (Assembly/Process) Operator, regardless of other duties, has a direct responsibility to the Director of Operations to follow the Production Department's (Assembly/Processing) procedures.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
A. Education and Training The Production (Assembly/Process ) Operator is required, as a minimum, to have a high school diploma or GED equivalent. The Director of Operations and Human Resources Manager can determine whether education and training are "equivalent" based on his/her experience.
B. Technical Requirements Not applicable.
C. Experience Prefered, but not required.
