JOB TITLE: Material Handler / Coordinator
DEPARTMENT: Inventory and Production Control
JOB DESCRIPTION:
A: Purpose and Scope
The Material Handler / Coordinator is responsible for following procedures for materials control for the company per the procedures in the company's quality system.
B. Responsibilities
The Materials Handler / Coordinator is responsible for handling products and materials using Document #XXXX - Purchasing Procedure, Document #XXXY - Material Control and Document #XXXZ Supplier/Material Qualification Procedures.
C. Organization Relationships
The Materials Handler / Coordinator, regardless of other duties, has an indirect responsibility to the Manager of Inventory and Production Control to follow the companies material control procedures.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
A. Education and Training
As Material Handler / Coordinator is a sub-set of other position within the Materials Department, the Materials Handler / Coordinator is required to meet the education and training requirements for his/her primary responsibility within the Material Control Department.
B. Technical Requirements
Materials Handler / Coordinator is required to meet the technical requirements for his/her primary responsibility within the Operations Department.
C. Experience
Materials Handler / Coordinator is required to meet the experience requirements for his/her primary responsibility within the Inventory and Production Control Department.
